wow, it has been quite a while since I have updated...but most of that has to do with the fact that I just (well, 12days ago) moved, and have been sans internet connection until now. Can you believe that SG is one of Kinko's restricted sites? How fucked up is that?
Anyway, my last 2 weeks-ish have been awesome. My farewell BBQ/Party (17th) was kick ass, even though none of the hotness I was hoping for was able to make it, my friends' garage band turned out to be totally rockin'....so much fun, and great energy. They set up an impromptu stage on the little firepit area in my orchard...I have photos somewhere, but can't seem to find them at the moment...
Then it was down to berkeley the next day for the final move...it felt wierd and good all at the same time to leave, but the wierdness subsided over the next couple of days to be replaced by the good vibes of being in this city, and connecting with old friends again...to sum up, the last week(s): two live concerts, good beer - saki - gin - whiskey - coffee - wine, great food, even better company (including two very lovely evenings with one of my favorite women and the crush of my life), random conversations with janitors - bums - lawyers - musicians - carpenters - dealers/growers - tailors - waitresses - cowboys - crips and suits, photo in the paper, carriage ride in part of Muir Land Trust, Giants Game, flirtation with cutness in general, been to Berkeley - Martinez - Oakland - SF - Emeryville - Tahoe Area (tomorrow), got a wicked sunburn and then a new hat, developed a new crush and gave her my phone number
(anxiously awaiting that call), got shaving tips from a transvestite, and got hit by a car...busy week, all good.
And to top it all off, my roomie (mikemac581) moves in today.
