not really much to report these days, but I figured that I'd better write something before the weekend started and in turn my overly exhausting social life...or whatever. For those of you who I left on the edge of your seats with my recent discussion of my future marriage plans, it seems due to a scheduling error, and the fact that my ride was busy putting her head down the toilet on Wednesday, I was not able find out whether or not Miss Portman is what I seek in a future bride, therefore it seems that the plans to marry Miss Knightly will proceed without incident. Of course there is still an opportunity for a dramatic reversal of fate during that highly odd moment in the ceremony when then ask if any one in the audience "knows of any reason why these two should not be wed." Of course some clever bastard might point out that we (Keira and I) don't actually know each other. In order to prevent this from happening, I wil not be inviting any clever bastards to my wedding. This dear readers is why you will not recieve any invitation to said wedding. And you thought that lack of invite was due to the fact that this entire marriage is due to the delusions of moi...haha I laugh at your simple and uncomprehending minds..
Anyway, my mother over the last couple of days has recovered from her wednesday dry-heaves (this I attribute to making her watch 8 episodes of "Samurai 7" with me yesterday), and thus tonight we will be venturing forth to the big city of Eureka, and eating sushi with a friend, and then listening to Jazz improv vocals at a nearby coffee house...ah, the life to the beatnik revivalist...or the bored child of an artist; take your pick.
That being said, I have got to get dressed and shaved, not to mention chug a ton of water so I can hit the sake hard...gotta love the sake.
check ya
Ian
oh yeah, and eidolon, I have put that mixed tape project on hold for a bit, but I think I will try to finish it up this weekend. Thanks for the advice, I practically have that monologue from "High Fidelity" memorized. And I will always listen to hotcurry when it comes to these matters...not sure why, but I will.
