It is tuesday, and I am already ready for Friday. Not that the week has been bad so far, I am just totally psyched, because I am planning on doing some major cooking on Friday. I am relatively new to the world of cooking, but it is my new hobby and I love it. I just haven't had a chance to do much in the past few weeks because of school and other BS. But now, this Friday a friend and I are going to play in the kitchen all evening.

The menu so far consists of:

- Cornbread (using my granny's recipe...awww)
- Some sort of Three Bean Chili, or Spicy Black Eyed peas deal.
- Collard Greens
- and possibly Rice
- Pecan Pie (also using my granny's recipe)

I still need to find a good recipes for the Chili, and probably the Collards as well (I have a recipe, but am not wowed by it). So if anybody has any suggestions, please let me know, otherwise I will be forced to surf the internet all week instead of studying.
