Wow, that last post has seriously been up waaayyy too long. Anyway, quick update of what I have been up to over the past month:
> Finished taking my Law School Finals for my first semester...I apparently survived them, but I could have done much better. I guess getting sick, and missing two solid weeks of class did end up effecting my grades a bit. Oh well, there is always the next semester, and at least I didn't wash out completely like a few people that I know.
> Spent my first week of vacation hanging out with my family in the Bay Area. My sister came down from PDX and my mom from Humboldt, and we had a nice week. I also got to hang out with my little 5yr old second cousin, who might just be the cutest little girl alive. She was in town with her parents, because our grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary...so cool.
> Then I went to Humboldt for X-mas, and was generally chill. I got to hang out a lot with my mom which was really nice, and also with one of my best friends, who I barely ever see.
>Then I pretty much went straight from Humboldt to Baja for about 9 days (8 nights) and had a great time with my step dad who has his boat down there, and the friend who went with me. I'll tell you, if NYE was any indication of how the rest of my year is going to turn out...I am pretty damned psyched.
> Got back from Baja on Friday night, and spent the weekend trying to unpack and get back into the swing of things...I am still having some issues with the latter endeavor, but things are slowly shaping up. I guess that is a good thing. Oh yeah, and I started my second semester of Law School two days ago, so I have had very little time to be mellow lately.
Goals for 2007
> Take some serious steps to get out of this school...either by transferring out, taking summer school to allow for an earlier graduation, or look into more travel abroad options, I do not want to spend any more time here than necessary. Don't get me wrong, I like the place well enough, but I don't feel like it is a really great fit for me, so I have to do what I can to minimize my contact with it. I am not trying to be negative, just realistic.
> Really, I try not to make too many goals this early in the year, I have to see how things progress. I just want to find a way to keep traveling, that is the main thing, but not sure which route I am going to utilize in order to do that yet...time will tell.
Anyway, Happy New Year Y'all...I'll try to be more active around here than I have been.

I was skimming, I'll admit. But I also meant what is it about GGU that you're not liking?

I'm at 575 Market, but I can easily hop on BART or Muni to get elsewhere. Possibly next Friday?
