Okay folks...here it is:
7 things I want to do before I die:
- travel to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Tonga (all in one long 3+ month trip)
- write/direct/star in a film or films
- speak at least 3 modern languages fluently (not including English), and get my Ancient Greek and Latin back up to snuff.
- sail around the Aegean and visit/camp at some of my favorite ancient ruins (Im thinking a month trip)
- master an art form (I think writing is my most likely area of success, not that this list supports that)
- find that perfect female version of my closest friends (I want to feel that click that I felt in my gut each time I met one of my boys)
- actually become that person that people think I am
7 things I cannot do:
- betray my friends
- sell out
- understand people who cant adapt
- allow myself to quit (never again)
- ever condone violence directed at a child or woman (I know this may seem like archaic chivalry to the outside observer, but believe me when I say that there are deeper issues at play here)
- eat meat
- forgive or forget certain sins (others as well as my own)
7 things that attract me to where I live:
- an incredible support group of friends
- climate
- my roommate
- accessibility
- a certain girl
- just the right distance from my roots/family
- Its the Bay Area: what more needs to be said?
7 things I say most often:
- Thats fucking hilarious (remember kids, humor is very subjective)
- You Sick Fuck
- Please and Thank You (at least I try to remember to do so)
- Love You (the English language is sadly limited in its capacity to describe the range of this feeling, so I put aside my reservations about peoples conceptions of this phrase, and I just go ahead and say it when I feel it now)
- dude (such a versatile word)
- right on
- we need to talk or the casual variation I want to run something by you (lets face is, I love to talk)
7 books or series I love:
- Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
- The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon
- Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
- The Manuscript Found in Saragossa by Jan Potocki
- Any short fiction by Borges
- The Odyssey by Homer
- The Iliad by Homer
7 movies/dvds I watch over and over:
- Princess Bride
- Samurai Seven
- Harold and Maude
- Le Femme Nikita
- Amelie
- Fifth Element
- Ishtar (I am not kidding)
I am not going to tag anybody on this, mostly because the people I am most interested in completing it have already done so.

well its that and I have one sibling, a sister, who is a total girly girl. I am not.
I was supposed to be a boy, or, rather, theywanted me to be. So I was raised to be the son that my father never had. And I love it. So I DO have bigger balls than most men, because not only do I act like a man sometimes, but I am also a woman. You know?
weeee!!
