god, it's been forever since I have last updated. I mean I am not really sure where to begin. I think I will have to, sadly, use the cop-out method and do the bulleted list thingy, just to get caught up in a timely fashion. So I'll just get on with it then shall I?
THE BAD
*That flu possibility mentioned in my last entry turned out to be a reality...it didn't put me down too long, but just long enough to fuck up my schedule, and thus putting me behnd in several things...happily I can report that I am all caught up now.
*My computer is in the hands of the (in)competent employees at CompUSA. Hopefully by some miracle they can fix the thing. In the meantime I am stuck using my oh so gracious roommate's computer.
*My absolute favorite attendant gave me notice a few days ago...this after I just finished replacing my least favorite attendant...I hate this interviewing/training shit.
*Had my annual doctor's appointment yesterday. It consisted of about 45min of people poking at me and telling me how fucked I am. I recoved by going over to the crush-of-my-life's house that night and drinking a bottle of wine and eating chocolate cake.
*The usual political nonsense...alright, I admit I am grasping for straws now...should I just skip ahead to the good?
THE GOOD (in no particular order)
*went over to the crush-of-my-life's house last night and drank a bottle of wine and ate chocolate cake.
*# of Days until ____ happens
27 - SGB
25 - Halloween
22 - one of my bestest friends comes into town
15 - Gogol Bordello Concert
10 - Dropkick Murhpy's Concert
9 - Midnight Art Museum Excursion @ the De Young
2 - dinner with old work/gaming buddies
Tonight - Lovemaker's Concert
*Have seen a multitude of good films, great concerts [see footnote below], and discovering some new comic books that just rock.
*Starting an e-mail correspondence with one of the hottest (in every sense of the word) girls I have ever known. I had a major crush on this girl when I was a young undergrad, and hadn't spoken to her since we graduated (2 yrs). I decided to e-mail her out of the blue, and that has started a little pen-pal thingy...Ex-english/rhetoric major...even her e-mails make me weak in the knees. Her mere turn of phrase is a turn on.
*I am officially going to start physical therapy again (after about a 10 yeat hiatus) on Sun...yeah!!!
*Also, am officially going to PDX for thanksgiving to see my sister. It will just be my mom, sister and I...without the rest of the family bullshit...I have my plane ticket already and everything. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this.
*I saw my ex-stepdad 2 nights ago. He is already on his way down to Mexico (baja) for the winter again. I am thinking about trying to get down there for a long weekend in Jan/Feb.
I am sure there is more to report, but I mean who really cares? I barely do...hope you all are well. Will talk to you soonish.
FOOTNOTE: I would just like to say, it has been one week since the last concert I attended. The Bouncing Souls @ Slim's. At this concert I met one of the coolest punk rockers in a long time. She was nice, thoughtful, and made it her personal mission to make sure I was enjoying myself...thank you Megan for everything. Including dragging me into the pit, and then managing to get me back out again. Hope to see you at another show.

and I don't think I'll be going to the show tonight because I've been spending money way too fast and it's only the beginning of the month. not working makes you budget a lot more carefully.
I'm glad you write.
your one of the inspirations in my life!
as for the personalities, I have honed the conservative one too, it consists of keeping my mouth shut as well.
Sleep is a factor, also concentration. I am working about seventy hours a week right now (including school studio time), so sleep, concentration, and trying to fit multiple things into my "free" time has made me wacko!!!!!!
