Loooong time since I posted

-Still sleeping on the first floor and planning on getting divorce (but can't afford two addresses!) frown

-Went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and scored in the top ten photographers (It was a competition) smile
-Going to Los Cabos to do a similar competition, but in a smaller scale in October smile

-Closed studio in Royal oak whatever
-Opened new studio in Ferndale smile

Getting on the plane this morning! The next 10 day I'll be in Cancun. It may be wet and rainy there, but it will be warm!

I wish. Instead I brought back a cold.

Here's the synopsis of the trip:
Rain everyday.
Shoot at Sunrise every morning (getup at 6, be ready to shoot at 6:30)
Shoot until about 10AM, grab a quick meal if possible and go to a workshop or shoot in the shade.
Start shooting again at 2pm till sundown (5:30PM)
Hopefully get in a dinner.
Go to an expo, orientation or casting at 8PM
Go out to a night club from 9 or 10 till 2 or 3 in the morning.
Repeat for 6 days

On the seventh day
Run a race - At half way point watch friend get sick and taken to hospital
Actually run the 2nd leg of the race so I don't get disqualified.
Visit friend at hospital
Return to hotel to turn in CD of top images
Go to sleep early because you start feeling sick too.

On the 8th day
Take some new friends out for dinner
Come back and find paramedics in the first friends room and accompany her to the hospital.
Stay with her till 2 AM

On the 9th day
Return to the hospital to see friend
Go to walmart to pick up robitussin for me
Pay $3000 hospital bill on credit card for friend
Go back to hotel and go to bed at 4PM

On the 10th day
Go home

I know that sounds pretty bad, but I DID have a good time and made a lot of new friends while I was there. I will try to get some photos up from the trip soon.

8 Days to go till Cancun! I'm going to be there for 9 nights! I can't wait! I've already started packing!

Sorry no room! I've got 10 days clothes, shoes, photo gear, shoes and a Fred Flintstone costume to take! I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to manage CARRYING all this stuff!

If anybody is interested...

We'll be having an open-house at the new studio on Friday, May 26th, between 6PM and 10PM. It's just an open house, not an industry event! Please dress family-friendly if you come, as there will be young children attending. (Including my own!)

Well, Things are finally settling down...even though the computers, some furniture and the refridgerator haven't shown up yet, I've managed to do a few shoots.
Still in the hole though, I need to start doing about 3 shoots a day to turn the tide in my favor again. smile

I'm getting totally stressed out!

I was supposed to have my first shoot at the studio yesterday - THE POWER WAS OUT FOR THE WHOLE BLOCK!
