I dont love wrestling like I used to due in part
to the other martial arts I was taking while I was grappling.
Used to get in trouble all the time for unorthodox moves
that I incorporated into my technique
although legal on the matt,Refs would give me warnings or point deductions for being original !
It became too limited as I was evolving .
I guess I became more combat oriented over the Sport aspect.
Dont get me wrong,
I still love a good tie up!
I just like pressure points and vital disruption
over the half nelson.
P.s. in 4 years of wrestling Win or lose
I always got first takedown.
