welp... i watched the news again and realized why i try not to watch tv at all... it pissed me off in like 6.2 seconds..
1. bush is making a lot of budget cuts to things that need increases, again... ie... education, agriculture, healthcare,
2. they are passing a law to make it even harder for people to get into the united states... or it has already been passed. not really sure about that one...
3. weyco inc started a anti smoking campaign that lets them dictate to you what you can and can't do out side of work as well as in..
lets go through this one rant at a time shall we:
what the hell is bush's problem... the education system is being hit for more money... i think that's one of the probs with this country right now... we need to spend MORE money on education... not less... are system is lacking as it is...
they are taking money that isn't theirs and spending it on shit that we don't want them to spend it on, and fully expect us to sit back and eat it because they think we don't have any way to fight back... well any way that wind us up in jail anyway...lol i hate bush... the more he's in... the less i like him... i want clinton back... yeah he was a adulterous redneck... but he was at least somewhat intelligent and wasn't his papy's buddy's puppet... dammit.
secondly: wasn't this country founded by imigrants? why the helll are we trying to keep people out when we shoudl be welcoming them with open arms... i don't care what people say about people coming over from other countrieds and taking the jobs... if you were compitent and learned in school... something getting harder to do now with bushes cuts...they wouldn't be taking your job... what the hell. a nation of exiles trying to turn away exiles...
thirdly... and this one pisses me off the most out of all three
those weyco bastards in michigan... there is not enough words to say how wrong they are... they are opening a bridge right into work force slavery... no one.... i mean no one... (save for the judiciary) has the right to tell us what we can and cannot do when we get off of work... it started with drug testing... now with cig's... i do not do drugs... well... a couple... but they are very legal... for now... and i'll be damned if i'll pee in a cup to prove how innocent i am... if i crash a front end loader into a schoolbus of nuns then yeah... i should be tested... but they have no right to tell me that i can't smoke a joint if i want to as long as i don't show up to work stoned... ever!!! same goes for smoking cig's... no employer has the right, or should ever have the right to tell you how to live your life outside of work... or demand that you obey them when you ain't on the clock... what's next... if you ain't slim and healthy you can't keep their job... if you ain't the right religion or do not do exactly what they want you to do with time they should have no control over. you can be fired for it... otherwise the whole do as i say at all times or starve on the street routing that i thought we got rid of at the end of the monarch period of history...
we are opening a door that will let those we work for invade our lives and dictate every inch of it... this does not bode well with me... not at all... i will be a worker... i have no problems with that... i made my bed of being a shit head in school, i'll lie in it in a widespread arena of dead end jobs and meneal pay... but i will never be my boss's slave... i will never feel like i have to answer to them outside of work..
that is crossing a boundry that should not be crossed
you can almost hear the sounds of the bill of rights being shredded can't ya?
keep the faithless.

Grow some veggies. Lettuce or spinach is pretty easy.
Turnips are fun. You could even grow some sage and rosemary.
Also take one day away from tv or news of any kind.
Last but not least. Now, this is the one that REALLY works for me...
Apply liberal amounts of alcohol. This is important.
It's a lot like diet and exercise. They go hand in hand.
Don't wind up crazy, old and just plain mean and unlovable like myself. I'm a bitter old bastard who would be so happy as a hermit.
Just don't let it make you mean.
promise?

now who would have seven years to dedicated to self defense? Soldiers and Aristocracts/upper classes. A handgun or rifle is a tool for everone while bladed weapons are for the people who already have advatages.
so if only the already powerful and a few crusaders have the ability to use swords they could use thier skill to cement thier postition and to keep the down trodden in thier place. even the crusader has an interest in keeping the sword as if anyone can defend themselves the crusader is less useful and hence less esteemed.
and assasians or common thugs would use daggers.
a gun is by definition point and shoot. again I sympathise romantically but firearms are an important part of democracy/republic. or any system that says the individual can decide what should be done.
