Congradulations on your lack of brain cancer! Im glad to hear you are well. WHat happened to school? Are you just off for a while?

I think it would be cool to own a bowling alley. SOmetimes I think about opening an eat and read place like they have in New Orleans. Just a chill, quiet place with simple food and lots of books.

ANyway, I hope all is well in your glass bottom boat. Take care, have a great weekend if I don't see you.

Be well,

Brendan

i should be doing school work but i got sucked into the austrailian open on espn.. i don't know what my obession with womens tennis is but it exists so i just deal with it and feed my addiction when it is on...
bob_dobalina:
a lot of people think that womens tennis is more exciting than the mens game because there's more tactical wizardry and games(wo)manship compared to the mens game, which is 99& blasting the ball.
might i recommend that you check out http://www.jazzandblues.org ? its the site for the southern california jazz and blues radio station kkjz. there's a streaming broadcast and archives of some pretty good sounds.

jazz and big band, eh? i'm wondering about your preferences... goodman or ellington? basie or chick webb?
bob_dobalina:
my most recent jazz music purchases (and therefore what i've been listening to the most)...
the definitive art tatum
keith jarrett :: standards volume two
ray brown, monty alexander, russell malone
kind of a mish-mash of styles between the stride piano of tatum, the classic bop of the trio and keith jarrett's new-school, post-jazz-messengers work. in the classic big band swing mode, i'm looking for a good mary lou williams cd to pick up soon.

are you a hokie?
