alright i am fully adjusted to being in IL now.. i had a wonderful weekend with my mom and sister... my sister kids are so awesome.. my neice will be three in august and my nephew 2 in November... they are the best thing in the world.. i feel super energized and ready for the world after my vacation.. i hope everyone is well

The trip from vegas to boston had a layover in washington dc. On the final approach to Dulles international airport the plane did all it's normal stuff except suddenly the plane pulled up hard, the engines kicked in hard and you saw the flaps close. We did a pass by on the landing. The pilot went over the intercomm and said the plane had mechanical problems. Sounded good so no biggie. Well we land and it was a little rough. After we stopped the pilot informed us that the landing gear did not go down on the first pass!! That they had to MANUALLY get the gear down! And because of which we had to wait for a tow to the gate.
The flight from Dulles to Logan international airport in boston: We found out, as we changed planes that we had the same flight attendents from the previous flight. Well on the landing (again!) the approach was normal, then suddenly less than 100 ft from the ground (My mom had the window seat and swears the wheels were inches from the ground!) and suddenly the plane pulled up hard, the engines roared, and the flaps closed! WTF! Apparently there was another plane on the fucking runway!!!!
I am a lucky bastard. I nearly died, twice!
i had a wall to wall grand packed weekend - its actually still going on, since I have today off. me and bg . . . well, we're always us I suppose
