another monday...

back to work after a VERY busy weekend. kas and i are back on the wagon again after her "joe lewis" hangover. so this morning i dumped out that last quarter of the vodka bottle into the sink and set the bottle out for recycling. also got a text from our cuddle buddy to let us know she was ok (she ended up leaving out house around 5 sunday morning).

then yesterday when i got up it was time to clean up the house...lots of "accoutrement" left over from the night before. i started dehydrating some potatoes; i am really digging this get ready for the end of the world thing. kas and i are going to sit down and make a list of things we need to get and start buying them in cycles. one of our weekend purchases was a tortilla press and comar (the thing you cook the tortillas on) because we figured that we wouldn't be able to make bread after the loss of an oven...

so, it started out as crazy, but i think that kas and i have really gotten into the whole planning for the apocalypse thing...its a fun activity, plus we are learning new skills.
