I've been a member for a month now and I haven't made any journal entries. Why ? Because nothing interesting happens around here. Of course, that's a cop-out because you have to go out and find what's interesting and I haven't. Nevertheless, who would want to read about it ?
Then, after reading a few of the blogs here, I found that my life is just as boring or just as interesting as the next persons.
Tomorrow night, the night before Halloween (or Devil's Night to fans of The Crow), I'm going to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show in an historic 1930's vaudeville theater here in Wichita, The Orpheum. If you've seen the movie, imagine the Floor Show stage. . . for real! See the pictures below!
It's kind of a special occasion; Rocky Horror is usually shown only once a year here . . . on Halloween. To celebrate, I'm going to bring out the leather jacket, put on my CMFM knee-high leather 15th century style boots, and christen a new pair of leather pants (ok, faux leather. They were on-sale!) All I need right now are a decent pair of sunglasses to cover my rather mundane eyeglasses, and I'll be the "Leather Transylvanian."
Here's hoping I attract more female attention than male. (Yeah, right! Like that'll happen!
