So, very recently I've been thinking about going to school. I know almost nothing about college in general. After high school I decided I was just going to go straight into the working world. I got my first job and after 7 months I got laid off due to the lack of customers and rumors. Now there are no more jobs and school looks more and more tempting.

So, what do I need to know about college? What are some subjects that are good to major in?

I'd be thankful to anyone who could help me.

Ooops, rereading my post, it looks like I'm down on school- totally not the case- I guess I was meaning that anything that you do or learn will contribute to everything you do and learn later. So don't be freaked out about choosing the right thing to get into.
You'll just retain more and get more out of it if it's something that you're really interested in smile

Oi, Electrohead! If you're looking for a colder climate and isolation, then why would you be avoiding Canada- sounds like it'd be exactly what you're looking for!
