derivation

In order to do well in music school I'll have to get into the habit of practicing at least 3-4 hours a day. Truthfully, thats not even enough. One of my old piano teachers told me that she practiced 8 hours a day in order to prepare for a recital. 8 Hours! Most people don't even work their jobs 8 hours a day. This will require discipline. I have never been too good with discipline. It's like being extremely happy and teriffied at the same time.
I think I can do this. I know I can.
