today was totally a dante day for me. you know, one of those

sort of ones. and to those that don't get that reference...then damn, you need to go and watch Clerks right now. if not, i may have to ban you from reading my journal


anyway, back to what i am talking about. today is supposed to be my day off, but i got a call from the manager that was supposed to be on today saying that she fell and thought she broke her ankle. ended up being a torn ligament that isn't going to require surgery, but anyway it leads to me losing a day where i sleep late and basically am a bum. so...driving in i get caught in monster traffic that makes me late, and after i get past that traffic i get a speeding ticket as i am rushing to get to work. then, i have the most annoying day at work, everything goes wrong, my cigarettes fall out of my pocket and into the toilet, you name it and it went wrong. shitty thing is that i made less money covering for her than that ticket is going to cost me. if only i had kevin smith there to record my day maybe i would be rich and famous before long but alas, it is not to be
