Hello, people of SG land. This week has been a little long, but with some amazing sets by some even more amazing ladies, I have been able to get by with a smile and a little bit of my sanity. Just some quick things I wanted to talk about today. First of all, I want to thank everyone who has clicked that "follow" below my name. It means so much to me. When I started this account, I mostly wanted a place to admire some sexy art and write down all of the weird thoughts that keep me awake at night, and to see and hear the support this community gives to everyone is just fantastic, so thank you. Also, something in the news that I found interesting.
In Saudi Arabia, prisoner Raif Badawi has had his sentence delayed for a second week in a row. For those of you who don't know, Mr. Badawi was responsible for opening an online forum, called "Liberal Saudi Network", that was supposed to encourage dialogue. Instead, the government arrested him for insulting Islam and sentenced him to 1000 lashes. That's right, lashes. There are still countries that perform this punishment. Authorities stated that Mr. Badawi was "physically unfit to face the penalty." This begs the question. How is Mr. Badawi being treated? How is the new king of Saudi Arabia going to handle this situation amid foreign opposition? It'll be interesting to find out.
