For those who don't know, I live my life attempting to abide by the law of attraction and the rules of manifestation. I'm a very deep person. I strive to grow spiritually everyday. I've learned love through experience. I've gained experience through love; even when that meant having my heart broken. What that lead me to was learning to love myself.
I'm an ex Christian. I went to Christian school the better part of 5 years, gaining knowledge about a religion I never felt to be true to who I was. I went to church all my life, believing I was bad and that I was a sinner and the only way to find grace, love, forgiveness our worthiness was to turn to God. I went through a lot of painful experiences from early childhood on. I never had it easy. I had teenage angst to rival most and rebellion set into me hard. I never did drugs, I didn't need them. I found myself high on personal loathing and hating others. That's what I got from "Christians".
When I was 18, a friend introduced me to the Secret. After watching What the Bleep Do We Know, I found the concept of the law of attraction not only intriguing but true to my core. I've researched, discussed, and manifested the very essence of that, my truth, for years now. I can say that where I am in life is where I am doused to be, as my own creator. I feel good and happy, free of the chains of organized religion. Free of the notion that I'm hell bound for having a child out of marriage, for being bisexual, for being highly sexual...
I have found love of the deepest kind... Love for myself and love for others. And I'm thankful everyday not only for the positive things in my life, but for the negative things as well. Suffering in this life is mandatory. It's what you take and create with and from that that makes you stronger and wiser.
