Tonight Rachael Dan and I went petitioning in the south end. I went mainly to get photos of the area, but the light quickly got bad and we just petitioned.
I find it really sad what they want to do down there. There are families and whole communities there. They want to just tear them down and put in some condos or something. It's sad. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the homes are in sad shape, but you don't need to tear down an entire block. Fix them up instead. But we get into a whole vicious chain... they can't fix them up unless they make more money but under Jennings that isn't going to happen. Ugh... it just goes on and on. This world sucks.
I remember what Mr Neiman said near my highschool graduation. He said, "I feel sorry for you guys. I feel sorry for the world you have to grow up in."
