For more than one week this stones-song got stuck in my head: "She's so cold". My God, this is real music. It's very simple, really sparsely played and got no unusual melody or harmonics, but it's got one thing, many other tunes lack of: real groove. And if I say groove, I mean groove. If you hear this song and totally remain sitting still on...

Yes, today I had my very last test for my diploma. Now I'm a free man again. And just today began the hot summer in this cold city. That means sitting at the river drinking cold spanish white wine and watching the city lights at night. It also means reading books without exzerption. Yea, I will read novels again. White wine..mmmmmmm. however, I don't believe I've ever had the pleasure of tasting Spanish white wine. What's it like? I too fancy the river. The one I live near is called the Rio Grande. My dogs and I love to spend time at the water's edge, I, throwing sticks, them swimming out to fetch. I enjoy the occasional drink there as well. So, I'm curious, what's living in Germany like? I myself have never been outside the US. Have a groovy day, XOXOXO, MaryJane
denk:
Spanish white wine is fruity and not so sweet as german white wine. My tip for wine worth the price is sicilian or sardinian red & white ...
And living in Germany is like ... eh ... don't know, been here most of my life, it's cold here but colorful. So if you like the crowd of varied people, make a trip.

A few days ago I read a phrase on a memorial stone for murdered chidren by the SS here in Hamburg and I am still moved:
"Here you're standing silently, but when you turn, don't be silent."
("Hier stehst du schweigend, doch wenn du dich wendest, schweige nicht.")
That's all needed to say.

Oh my god, in just a week will be my last exam. After that I will be a free man again. But now I'm filling up my head with Lvi-Strauss and Peyote-Religion. Who cares about that, who really want to know that? Me not at all. I want to engage in really interesting things, instead of wasting my time with one pile of dull facts...

I don't hate smokers, no I really don't, but every time when I open the window and balcony door to get some fresh air in before going to bed - the clear and clean night air from the north sea I guess - the sweetish smoke from the apartement below creeps in. That I hate. I am a fresh-air-addict. I want to live right behind...
