Home again, home again.
This afternoon was the first time I've sat down and relaxed since before going to LA for the wedding event. Phew. Seriously. I've been catching up on sleep a bit too! So exciting.

The wedding went well, it was a good time all-round. I was very happy with what I'd written, and how I'd been able to find the thread I was looking for to weave the whole thing around. The wedding couple loved it, and damn it was a beautiful day! The wind was whipping and the ocean blue with white fringe. There were kites flying overhead, flowers everywhere, sage smudges round and about. I felt like I was able to make the place our own. The two getting married are very dear to me, we've been though many places and times together; I've been involved with them together and seperately, in many wonderful ways. Yep. I did a handfasting, and it gave me great pleasure to be able to tie them to each other in such a ritual, for all to see!

Having this over and done has freed up my mind a bit. Four more work days, and then I have summer off. Bliss. Gonna do some travelling, well, some. Portland! Heh. Friends and relatives up there, and it's good to get out of town. There are some other possibilities, there's a good bit of free time to play with. Ahhhh, and then Chicago, end of July. For a software training, joy! Actually, I'm really looking forward to it. A week in a hotel in a strange city, all paid for? I've never seen the Great Lakes, never been to Chicago. An adventure brewing, certainly.
