Well, this coming monday is my one month anniversary of my release from rehabilitation, and my one month "check-up" at the hospital. From there we'll see about my plans in the future, mainly outpatient therapy, probably in downtown Philly.

Eek. Did you break your back? How long ago did it happen? I busted T4, T5, and T6 in '99. I could only wiggle my toe back and forth a little when I first got to the hopital. I didn't cut the cord completely (just cut into it a bit). After a ridiculous amount of work and annoyance, I've managed a close to complete recovery.
Here's my advice (not that you asked for it, feel free to tell me to shut up): Whatever, you can move, move it. A lot. Just keep moving you leg as far as you can as often as you can. Try to move it just a bit more or a bit farther every day.

writing can be really theraputic (spelling). i dont do much of it anymore due to lack of any extreme emotion. no depression or big love in my life. apathy isn't too inspiring.
anyway, happy thanksgiving. a good excuse to do what i always do, eat tons of food and sit around.
