So I got tattooed again last saturday, and all in all it's healing well, with the exception on the area right on my sternum.
The area between the fingers was gone over multiple times, and towards the end of the appointment we were nearing the four hour mark. I think it was just too much for my body to take, because there is one chunk where the ink has fallen out completely, and several that are very faded. This is awesome because this means I have to have my fucking sternum tattooed AGAIN, ugh. Luckily I have an appointment right before prom, so although it will be shiny and weird I'd rather that then have big chunks of ink missing.
