So, tonight was my first night doing theatrical makeup for the Sacramento Opera. It was also my first time doing theatrical makeup EVER. The base drives me crazy, and it's hard to get on smoothly. The eyes I got on okay, but I think I need to turn up the controuring a notch on some of the girls. The lipstick also requires some tweaking because it doesn't stay on at all. I'm gonna have to powder it down. For something so thin, it sure stained my brush good. One of my bosses from Sephora works with me thankfully, so I got some good pointers from her, and she's also totally helping me out by driving because my account is massively over drawn and I wouldn't even be able to afford to park. That I love hanging out with her outside of work. She's a cool chick. It's hard for me to beleive I wasn't too keen on her at first, because she's totaly turning into my mentor.
