I just found out that one of the research projects I'm...researching (he, he) is going to require me to learn differential geometry, which I'd hoped I wouldn't need 'til much later. Sigh. Whelp, when one is dealing with relativistic energy fields, I guess one has to pay the dues. Linear algebra, here I come.

I figured you may have heard of that book - it's been around for a bit.
Very cool about you being into the taoist / buddhist ideals - sometimes it's hard to follow as ego can be a very overwhelming thing, but that's what makes life interesting, you know? One philosophy I follow is to keep a balance of mind, body and spirit which is near impossible it seems. - you work on one, and end up neglicting the others.
