Okay. For those of you who didn't know, Mara's dad is a composer for Hollywood. Soundtracks and what-not. He just gave Mara her B-day present. A new computer, on which I am typing this journal--faster and more streamlined than ever before. This thing rocks. As in serious ass-kicking.
He's also going to help me pay to have my dead-truck brought back to life. He just looked at me and asked what's wrong with it. I told him. He said just have it towed and taken care of. I said, yay, and pay for it with what. He said no, just have it towed. Then he gave me his AAA card and told me to forward the bill to him.
This frees me up to start saving for the Collected Lectures of Richard Feynman (Hardback Box) that I found at Border's tonight. Contented sigh.

The creepy part is I keep telling my dad I don't want a computer, so he wouldn't even tell me and just came over and installed it. I think the only way to keep him from buying me stuff is to act like my step-mom and constantly tell him he needs to buy me stuff. hehe.
Seriously though, I feel bad.
BTW, has anyone ever heard of the Surf Punks or Eddie Sapien?
