School starts Monday. Had the first of two department meetings tonight (the TA meeting--the actual, full department meeting is Monday). I spent the last three days working out a nice syllabus (I wouldn't have worried about it but I'm the first TA to teach a Physics class at my school--which is relatively new...ish--and I had to include things that I didn't have to for my remedial algebra class last semester).

Still, despite not having a clear handle on the labs I have to run--and by 'clear handle' I mean absolutely no idea since no one bothered returning any of my emails on the subject over the Summer--I'm feeling pretty good about this class. Kinda borrowing the homework style from my two undergrad engineering classes--from back when I thought I wasn't good enough to be an applied mathematician, but turned out I was even less of a 'team' project kind of guy--and I think that will be interesting. We'll see.

I'm also going to try to make myself update more. I think it will be good for me. Or something. I tend to spend most of my time on this site reading other people's stuff (blogs and group posts) and looking at boobs. I'm, therefore, going to try to be more pro-active in commenting on said blogs/group posts. And boobs. Yeah.

That said, I'll see you in two months for my next post.
