Okay, thousand experience points to the person who can recognize my Stats. Astrokreep23 and Mara don't count. They don't know, so don't ask 'em. I mean that. Right, Astro? Mara? Right?

Ahem, sorry. So, any takers?

Ahh...the end of Spring Break. Homework complete, books read, parties attended. All fairly well accomplished, thank you very much.

Special thanks to Mara for turning bi-curious girls into bi-definite girls; Astrokreep23 for a great couple of Exalted games; littledragon and twenty3beers for a great goth party,

biggrin

WARNING: Another lame joke ahead.

Ahem...

Pyotr thanked Ivan for explaining telephones. "But what I really do not understand, Ivan, is television. I watch the soccer matches and the news every day--but how is it possible to send color pictures from one end of the country to the other, and without wires?"

Ivan thought for a few moments and replied, "And WITH wires, you'd understand?"...

Actually, s5 came up with a great suggestion for dealing with the "open discussion on abortion" thing, which is to make flyers to put next to all the ones advertising it saying what's REALLY going on. It's obvious they are counting on people not knowing who's behind the discussion so they can ambush them, this way people won't be ambushed and might be able to come prepared. OR no one prochoice will show up and then they won't have anyone to convince.

Okay, not a bad weekend for the first part of Spring Break.

Let's see. Had some good workouts and sparring; went for a run; finished my Calculus proofs and half of my Circuits problems; contentedly watched my girlfriend molest the hell out of another girl at a small party; played some Exalted--good times all around, I should think!

Today holds laundry, the rest of Circuits...

Ah, Spring Break. Good times. A series of proofs to do for calculus, the longest chapter with the longest problem set of the semester for physics and two--yep, two--circuits problem sets to do. Good times. tongue

All right--I am officially braindead. I just spent three hours working on nine calculus problems only to get half of one right. That's it. Half a freakin' problem. Great. Well, here's to being ready for the quiz tomorrow!

Sigh.

My mother has had high-blood pressure for quite some time now, and, recently, she's been light-headed, fatigued and anemic. Her doctor ran some tests and then told her that he wanted her to go see an oncologist. An oncologist is a doctor specializing in cancer. frown

Fuck.

Well, if you're gonna bomb the shit out of something, you might as well do a thorough job of it, right? puke

I hate war. There is NO justification for war in my book. However, I do understand that, sometimes, violence is unavoidable. Mind you, VIOLENCE may be unavoidable, not WAR--war is always avoidable.

The thing is, I don't buy the whole Saddam is a mad...

It's a sad day when we're taking more care to see that no harm comes to oil wells than we are to see that civilians don't die. It hurts to think about how many people have died for that oil over the years.

A part of me completely agrees with you both. But recently I can't help but listen to all the propaganda that we're pursuing this really noble cause and blah blah blah.

But definatetly - satalites. Come on now. This whole thing is pretty much a pissing contest.

Whelp, just scored a nice 110 out of 100 on my Circuits midterm. Should've had 120, but I blew the 20 pt extra credit problem--it was a Thevenin/max power analysis which I only got half right, hence the 110 not 120. biggrin Still, the extra points will help. My Circuits lab score is a little low. We have to do computer-assisted analysis and the computer programs...

All right, by popular demand: Blood lust. Enjoy.

The siege began at dawn, that inhospitable hour when the purple moon has vanished and the sun has barely begun to claw its way into the heavens.

At first, there was only silence beyond the obsidian walls of the caer, but, to those of us on the battlements, the shadow covering the wasteland before us was pregnant...
