Today has been *really* good.
I had a lousy nights sleep. It's been very humid here recently, and the storms yesterday didn't do much to clear the air, and the cat was annoying as hell. So, I was a tad grumpy when I got up this morning. But logging on to SG I find some really nice comments waiting for me, from people that I like, so that cheered me up
I'm doing a bit of OT with a community voluntary project. We're working on an Allotment. This morning we put up the frame for a poly-tunnel. Bloody hard work, we had to dig a shallow trench and lug bits of wood around and heave these metal arches down to spring them together.
So now I'm very tired. But that's good, because it's proper tired, not crotchety tired, and it means I'll get some real sleep tonight. I just hope I don't doze off at 18:30 this evening...
Also, another reason I feel good is that I had breakfast. Toast and peanut butter. Not ice cream or eclairs or crisps which is my normal 'breakfast' food, and I normally eat it at midday not in the morning.

Oh mercy...it's been hotter than hell here in Sacramento too, makes it really hard to sleep. I really like your profile picture, something about it makes me smile and it portrays you as a genuinely nice, easy going guy. (I hope those are taken as compliments)
