Today wasn't so bad. Course, right now the bar is set pretty low for what qualifies as a good day.
I'm just finishing watching Deadwood all the way through for maybe the fifth time. Not fifth time in a row, mind you. The attraction at present (perhaps as always) is that every character is miserable, pissed off and in a hopeless situation. Quite literally, since the show was canceled after the third season. Ironically, the only one that doesn't end on an upbeat note. Imagine The Empire Strikes Back without any hope of redemption in the fuzzy form of an uplifting Ewok finale. Which really isn't such a bad thing when you think about it.

I watched Deadwood three times in a row. My room mates tired of theme song. I couldn't stop. I was addicted. (I still am)I

There are a handful of shows that I never tire of watching. Deadwood probably holds the top spot as I can't think of another series I've watched completely through so many times.
