ok, yesterday sucked big time at work. it was busy off and on, and i didn't feel well...and to top it off an hour before closing my bra broke. the wire poked through the end...it's the only bra i have that suitable for everyday use...my manager let me run out into the mall like 20 minutes before it closed so i could buy a new one from Victoria's Secret...
right, never ever go in there the night before valentine's day...it was insane. and they didn't even have my size in the bra i like! argh! so i got one w/ more lining (eww) and it had a make up stain on it so the clerk said i could buy it, wear it tonight (cause i was going out straight from work), and then bring it back and get an exchange...
i sprint back to work, and the manager has already closed the gates so i have to yell to get their attention, and then i see near my dept, there is my friend Lori w/ her husband and their baby Verity, who is going to be 1 year old in a few days. i fucking knew that she was going to be coming in soon! i knew it! so yeah, i get in, she shows me her new tattoo ( two colorful seahorses kissing w/ a little one between them w/ her daughter's name under it) it was sooo pretty! she gives me an invitation to Verity's birth day party, and then since the store is pretty much closed, they have to leave.
i run to the bathroom to put on the new bra cause the old one is stabbing me something awful... it looks so funny on! it doesn't give enough support at the sides, so they looked all misshapped. bleh...had to suffer through the night.
i had been invited earlier to go w/ some of my co workers to make an appearance at our former co-worker's (who is a huge bitch) goodbye dinner of sorts. the 5 of us (Jackie, Niki, Raisa, Steven, & I) all pile into Jackie's car, drive a little ways to the resturant, and see it's packed, and also realized that it's the kinda of place where you pay first, when you get inside, a buffet...so yeah, we didn't go. heh
we were then going to go to Red Robbin, but as we're about to get on the freeway, Jackie realizes that she forgot all her pre-writing for an essay that's due on Tuesday (this was sunday night)...so yeah, speed back there, manage to get there before the manager left, she gets her shit.
Steven decides to drive his own car....bleh, we go to a red robbin really far away for some reason. oh and Jackie had the strangest mix cd in her car....i never would have expected her to be listening to Guns n Roses, Queen, old school Michael Jackson...
but anway so we eat there, i'm the only one who is 21 or over, so i get a Sex On The Beach just to piss them off. hehe
it was pretty fun, i've never hung out after work w/ my co workers.
when we get our bill, it's over $70!!!!! so we all pay for just what we ate. mine was most expensive cause my one drink cost almost $7!!!! it was insane!
then they decided that they needed dairy queen. so yeah, we sit there fore a while, steven makes a huge mess.
so that was my big weekend.
