today at work was insane! there were huge lines from 5:30am to noon...insane!!!!! i hate working the day after thanksgiving, it's the worst day of the year to work retail. i was totally exhausted by 1-ish cause i got there at 9am, and had used up what little energy i had being cheerful and timely for the fucking insane customers.
i work mornings for the rest of the weekend also. not looking forward to that, but i my next paycheck should be better than it has been lately. so that's good.
my stomach is super upset right now. it could either be the left over turkey or the small piece of cherry pie i ate when i got home from work. i dont know, i just wish i could poop it out already.
i watched Samantha: An American Girl Christmas last night on tv. i really wanted to actually, cause i had a subscription to American Girl magazine when i was in elementary school, and i loved it at the time. i had 3 sets of their books too. the Samantha series was the first i got, so i have an extra special connection to her i guess. hahaha. fuck you all who are laughing. she's a good little rich victorian girl who helps her orphaned friend and her little sisters escape a mean orphanage. and then her uncle and aunt adopt them all. awwww. ha, anyway. they tried to smoosh the 5 books in the series all togeather into one movie, and i guess they did a decent job...eh..I think it would be cool if they made a tv movie for each of the original girls. i think there were five to begin with...one from the american revolution, one from pioneer days, one from civil war, one from victorian era, and one from WWII... i'd watch 'em. yeah, fuck you all some more for laughing.
bah, i'm babbling.
the last lyric was Mekong by The Refreshments. local boys, oh yeah!
quote for today:
"I came in from the east with the sun in my eyes. I cursed it one time & rode on ahead. I said, 'Where you been?' She said 'No place special.' She said 'You look different', I said 'Well i guess'. She said 'You been gone', I said 'It's only natural'. She said 'You gonna stay?', I said 'If you want me to, yes'."
