my best friend is getting a puppy on saturday and i'm so jealous. we agreed well over a year ago that we could safely say our biological clocks were ticking away, and recently i've developed a strong desire for a pet. i figure i need something to mother, and i'm certainly in no position to have a child, so a small animal would be the next best thing. Jarrod (the boyfriend) really likes dogs and has been wanting another one for a long time (his last one was shot by a stalker. yeah he has some baggage) and we were at the pet store a few weeks ago just killing time and both fell in love with a little corgi pup! i dont like big dogs and he hates lap dogs, so we decided if we ever got a pet together we'd have to get a medium sized dog, and i got dead set on a beagle but once we saw this little blonde corgi i was in love! he was too, he asked the clerk how much it was outright, not payments, but if he paid cash today... too much for him, but it showed how serious he was...
over the weekend i was shopping with my best friend, picking up some last minute puppy essentials from Petsmart...sh e was showing me these chew toys where you put the dog food in them, and that way the dog has to work for its food and doesnt become lazy... so there's different sizes and thicknesses for different sized dogs...for the medium sized dogs, there were two different colors, on one is the picture of a corgi, and the other the picture of a beagle! its a sign! now i want one of each!
