suffering from a yucky cold on my day off.
went on a scary adventure today deep into scottsdale in search of the new location of my favorite shop as a child...The Dollhouse. it's like a hobby shop for doll colletors and dollhouse owners.
yes i own a dollhouse. i got it for christmas over ten years ago and it's not even close to half finished. it really is awesome though. i should take a picture sometime and post it.
but my mom let me have almost total control over the decorating and now that i look at it, it's fucking hideous! (for the most part...so far the kitchen fucking rocks. you'll see why soon enough)
different patterened wallpaper in every room... huge floral prints for the most part. i plan on changing most of the rooms except for a few...kitchen (cherry print wallpaper), little girl's room (ballerina theme), baby's room ( everything paddington bear)...
two most major changes in store: redoing botched bathroom (waayyy too small) and formal sitting room (soon to be a game room /lounge)
so yeah, i dropped $30 on three new pieces for my dollhouse.... a tiny tutu, a miniture book of frida kahlo's work (it's like a real book, pictures and text on every page, just way too small to read. the whole things about the size of a quarter) and a itty bitty bottle of absolute vodka (for the future cocktail lounge).
other than that not much going on. busy at work.
bought myself a stationary bike last week.
people i haven't talked to in months or even years popping out of the woodwork...
i think i'm going to go back to bed and try to sleep off this cold.
