so no job offers eh? meh, guess I'll have to work for it just like everyone else.

I don't know about anyone else but I get kinda sad when these people I know from highschool are doing so well now and I'm still at home, with only a car and a giant dog to my name.

blake mcgrath went to my highschool. we weren't friends...and the kid was the biggest dink in school. snobby....a loner....poor grades...and yet he's out there right now dancing it up with britney spears, madonna, and whoever else.

but it got me thinking.....WOW he must have a lot of ambition. I have things I would love to do, but if it cant happen right away I sorta give up. There are certain spurts where I resolve to do something about my life...be more ambitious but that only lasts a day or week at the most.

is anyone else like this???

i feel kinda useless to be honest. Im just sitting here waiting for things to happen. when am i finally going to follow through on something and work for what i want??

how do you make yourself more ambitious?

That's the story of my life.

If I knew a way to snap myself out of it, I would.

Then I'd make a fortune selling it to everyone else.

hey there... I went to high school in Milton so if you're still there I can sort of understand being in a bit of a rut... no offense of course if you like it there... but on a related note, I've found in my experience that one of the best ways to get motivated when I've felt the way you're describing, is to move. go to a new place. seriously. sometimes it's amazing what wonders a change of scenery can do for a person. when you're having trouble motivating yourself to change, changing things around you can be a good place to start.

hm, I wonder if I can stretch that into a book and beat northern12 to the punch? wink
