Well well well...A month without work does a body good! Been running in the trees, hiking a lot, and playing much music. Song #1 and cover #1 are completed, written, set...a few more to go and I'll be whoring myself out for opening gigs...there's this Madonna tune that I think needs to be made country...
I've been gone and there is little to be said for it. The hair is shorter, the rental car has changed, and I need a fucking job so I can justify another tattoo. Been 5 years, and that's too long.
I went and saw some cool shit...and for amyone that likes bluegrass, go see Frog Mountain and/or the Larry Keel Experience. Both known (and rightly so) for their guitars, but it's the mandolins that killed me. And the violin player for Frog Mtn...jeez, not OK to make me feel so singularly lame and unfocused...
