It's cold and rainy...or, it's like 65 and rainy, and after four months in the desert that feels cold. Tucson has made me a pansy.
I dreampt I lived in North Hollywood with Don T. Inferno, the guy I got my first tattoo from. I had read an article about him in the East Bay Express (this is not the dream, this is the truth) and decided he sounded cool. I call the paper, they got me his number, and I called him. He was moving to Hollywood in a week. I had dreampt the image, and made a rough scetch. He shows up, skinny guy in leather pants, boots, a horribly ink stained tuxedo shirt, with his really cool girlfriend, Ace. They showed up on an old Triumph. We did the tatto in the the temple of Thelema Lodge of the O.T.O. blasting the Flesh Eaters. I have never seen him again, but I do think about him & Ace at times.
Anyway, so in my dream I am living with him, just moved there, with my snake, guitars, weights and such in my truck. He helps me unload, and says 'I kinda forgot you were coming in today, and I'm sure your tired...but I am having some folks over for dinner...I hope that's cool? I said sure, that's cool, and it's Lesa & her man. Nice dream.
Today I drove all over Tucson really fast in a borrowed honda civic...well, really fast compared to my truck. It was fun, I pretended I was Dia.
