Met a nice girl and went to Mexico.
Witnessed a truly peculiar (to me, anyway) event- we were at a beach with some thousands of Mexican American (only saw three other anglos there) men (perhaps 10% women, to be fair). The outing was based on the following physical feature: one big sand dune with a phallic tower with a Dos Equis logo on it. The goal was to drive your truck/jeep/dune buggy/ATV up the dune at breakneck speeds over and over again until your vehicle broke down. This was a twenty-four hour thing. Everyone was very cool, once you looked beyond their obviously pathological vehicular phallic worship.
Me and the girl spent about six hours in the ocean- best time I have had in years. Life is good.
