All apologies for the Tourettic outburst of anger at the end of my last blog. I was having a terrible day.
So I JUST got back from getting the tooth pulled. You know how usually things when you dread them turn out to be not nearly as horrible as you were thinking that they'd be...no. This time it's the opposite of that. They had to give me six shots in various places in my mouth three different times. Two shots each time. They kept coming back to check if I was numbed enough and finally at the end I just didn't give a shit and wanted to get out of there...so it DID hurt. It's been an hour and still hasn't stopped bleeding...so my left cheek is packed with gauze. They gave me Vicodin for the pain (a very sarcastic thank you)...but in all fairness they were very nice. I'm just pissed that I had to go to the poor people clinic where they don't afford you the luxury of laughing gas. Mer.
Aaanyway, at least I don't have to go to work for the next couple of days. Which means that I'll be here, in front of the computer...at least until it's time to go watch all the Sarah Silverman stuff that we've been stealing off the internet. Hooray for hermiting...I love doing that. The only problem is that tomorrow night, aside from being St. Patrick's Day, is my friend Ruthy's birthday celebration. She's having it at Mo'z...Muskegon's favorite debauchery hole... I love it there and under normal circumstances I'd be there anyway but I don't know how down I'm going to be with going out. I'll be letting down like four different groups of people if I don't though. Wow, that sounded bitchy- I didn't mean to make it sound like I AM the party. What I meant was, Ruthy + that crowd don't really know my usual crowd who is going there for St. Patrick's, or my work crowd who is doing the same. Also my friend Clint really wants to go but doesn't want to go alone... He and I did decide though to perhaps go see Black Snake Moan sometime this week(end) after I'm feeling better. Double hooray for half-naked Christina Ricci.
Soooooo... I'm going to go pray that I never have to get a tooth pulled again...to Joe Pesci though, because he gets results.
