Some things that I'm looking forward to: The P.O.S. & (to a much lesser degree of excitement) Gym Class Heroes show. It's next Wednesday (7th) at the Intersection in GR. If you like hip-hop you should come check this guy out. He's pretty amazing in my book. Also- I'm seeing Secret Chiefs 3 in Detroit on the 11th at either the Magic Bag or Stick... I'm pretty sure it's the Bag though. SC3 is basically Mr. Bungle minus Mike Patton, and sadly that's the closest I'll ever come to seeing Mr. Bungle :*( THEN last but definitely not least, we've purchased our tickets for Bonnaroo '07. June 14-17. A bunch of good friends and myself are caravanning down there... Maybe even some of my good friends from Ohio, I hope I hope.
It's not just shows though, I'm also looking forward to going back down to the OH to see my mom and the fam and also to get tattooed by this lovely lady. She is a-MAZING. She even won an award at Hell City last year and this year she and my best friend Brandon are gunning for a second one. The bolder and taller fish and the waves are what I'm getting on the top of my back and part of the back of my neck. It's going to be colored- the waves blue and I haven't decided on the fish yet. Then I'm getting a neat-ass scorpian on the right side of the bottom of my stomach- (see Mallory's tattoo in Natural Born Killers- call me a copycat if you must but it will be different, not exactly like hers and at least I owned up) I already have one on my left arm. No, I'm not a Scorpio, or a big fan of the Scorpians, or part of the scorpian motorcycle gang, or any other lame questions I've ever heard- I just think that they are really neat. I want three of them- real ones.
What else what else? Oh yeah- spring is coming, which is always the shit. Especially when you live where I do- by an amazing lake, tons of beaches, tons of woods to hike/camp in, lots to do- EXCEPT in the winter. I know I could slide down hills or whatever but I'm not into having colds.
So yeah... I guess everything's coming up Milhouse.
