i just got back from asheville today. i stayed at the inn on the biltmore estate with my mom and grandparents. it was my grandparents' 55th anniversary two weeks ago, but Ivan rained us out. i drank so much wine and ate so much food. i feel like i've poofed up like a beach ball! it was a lot of fun. i brought back two bottles of biltmore wine. we pretty much got drunk off wine friday and saturday night. it was funny.
it's good to be home though. especially since now i'm not around all the wonderful and fattening food! i have to fend for myself again. no more creamy crab soup and wine for me! yum. it was so good. especially the free wine tasting. i'm such a lush!
anyway, it's back to work tomorrow. i get to open and close a double. fun fun fun.
and they've closed out pool, even though they said they'd let us all know before they did. now i wish i'd went swimming this morning before we left asheville. i love swimming. i was thinking this morning how weird it is that some people can't swim. you'd think it would be instinct. so many other animals seems to be able to swim by insinct, even if they hate it.
oh well. i'll just have to wait for next summer.

I love swimming...I wish there were more pools in this area that didn't cost so much to go to cause I would love to swim every day. I think the reason why some people can't swim is just another way of nature trying to thin out the herd of humans, but alas we just make lifevests and floatie things, so the non swimmers can enjoy water too.
