so yesterday at work i had to keep bringing the clean plates from the dish pit to the counter in the kitchen. we have these plastic trays that we put sandwiches and appetizers on and i was carrying a big stack on them. we have to put them up on top of the shelf over the counter, which for me means on my tippy-toes. no one was standing by the counter, so when i was a couple steps away i started to lift the stack up.

this woman i work with, who was at the drink station across from the counter managed to somehow step all the way over in front of me where i couldn't see her and we collided. i dropped half the trays. she didn't drop anything. i try to ask her if she's okay, but she just ignores me. she says something about having to count to 10.

at the same time something's burning in the kitchen. so people start asking what's burning or what's the smell? every time someone asks she says, "it's me. when i get hurt, i get mad." she was such a fucking bitch about in. it's not like i did it on purpose. it's not like she doesn't share some responsibility for watching where she's going. it's not like i didn't get hurt. no one even asked if i was okay.

god, she was just being such a bitch about it. i'm the kind of person who understands that accidents happen and will try to reassure people that i'm okay even if i really do hurt. because i know that they didn't mean to hurt me. it really irritates me that she acted like such a bitch. she's somewhere around 50. she should be mature enough to not get all pissed off about a fucking accident.
