so i went for an interview at a restaurant today and i waited for the manager (#1), who then talked briefly with me and told me to wait for manager #2. so i wait. then finally #2 comes out and takes me off for a brief interview. tells me to wait on #1 for a second interview. are we seeing a pattern yet? so i wait and i wait. #2 comes back and hands me a test to take. take test. very entertained because it's pretty much a psychological profile. wonder just how much i should lie. finish. test. wait. wait. wait. finally flag down hostess and ask what i should do. she goes and gets #2 who tells me they'll give me a call tomorrow for a 2nd interview.

i was there for at least an hour and a half, maybe 30 minutes of which were involved with interviewing or testing. this guy who came in with me was still sitting around waiting when i left. they could have just told me to come back later. i did have better things i could have been doing with my time rather than sitting around waiting for them.

anyway. off to put in more applications at nicer places in atlanta tomorrow. at least one is actually looking for a bartender, so that's good. hopefully i'll find something good, that pays well.

okay, i have a question. does anyone know where i can find a bell in atlanta. one with a handle, that sounds pretty. and hopefully everyone knows what i'm talking about by a bell with a handle. people at stores keep giving me blank looks. someone help me find one! please!
