grumble grumble gumble
i went in for my third interview at that restaurant and was informed that the bartenders already working there had been there for 7 years and showing no signs of leaving. plus, there's a huge list of servers waiting to be bartenders. so i could get a job as a server, but it would be years before i made it to the bar, if ever. fuck that!
fortunately i got a call from another place i had applied at in atlanta. i've been trying to call them back, but no one's been answering the phone. so hopefully i can get a job there. it's the first place i applied.
someone give me a job!
i'm drinking tomorrow night. so i get to play with drinks. yay! and pretend i'm a bartender. well, i guess i am one, just not an employed one.
have i mentioned that someone should give me a job?

We need a new bartender where I work. But I think the commute would be a killer. To be honest, if you don't already have serving experience, get some. In our restaurant, bartenders are not just behind the bar, but also taking tables. We're a pretty fucked up place, though.
