I'm feeling really empty right now. It's a very odd feeling.
Last night, a boy I used to be slightly interested in was having a bachelor party at one of the bars downtown. Prior to entering the bar, a few of his friends were in a truck stopped next to our car. I, for some reason, was laughing hysterically in the back seat and caught the attention of said friends. As we walked to the back of the bar, said friends asked if we were the ones at the stop light. At this moment, I realized that a. I worked with all of them b. I was being looked up and down by the majority of the men there and c. they have never once paid attention to me at work. We, of course said no.
I am in no way interested in the engaged boy now, but I just find it very interesting what will superficially attract men. The only thing I was wearing that was out of the ordinary was a shorter skirt. On top, I was wearing a Volcom hoodie zipped past my boobs. However, all night, I was getting very random glances from lots and lots of people.
All the attention made me feel good last night, but now that I think of it, it makes me sad that boys don't even look at me when I'm not trying to impress them. I feel that I have reached an age where the first thing I have to do to get a guys attention is to arouse them sexually.
Boys: are first (physical) impressions key to starting a "relationship"?
Just want to know.

physical may be significant in initial impression, but matters little in anything long term
