Weekend Roundup:
Friday night I went out to dinner with some friends and saw In Good Company. I felt it was really good. It made me cry and that's a hard thing to do.
Saturday, I went to my house and took a nap, then bought some Snicker Bars for some deep frying action happening at my friend Sarah's house. Have you ever had deep fried Snickers before? They are fabulous. Simply fabulous. I made the batter myself. Watch out Western Montana Fair: I'm going to open me my own stand and marry a carnie.
The party consisted of two key events: deep frying random things and playing the Century Club Drinking Game. Oh how I think fondly of my college years when that game is mentioned. I didn't partake in the latter festivity, instead I documented the evening with the digital camera. I hope to have the pictures up soon. It was too much fun. By 10pm, everyone was fucked so it was only natural to squish everyone into one car to go dancing at Club Cabo*. We shook our asses for a few hours, got hit on by sleazy men and then went home. Ah...the good life.
Today, I went home and vegged out. Now, I'm back at my boss's house waiting for an appropriate hour to go to bed.
*Montana is not known for it's club scene. In fact, Club Cabo is the token "club" in Missoula. It is in a mexican restaurant in the mall. After hours, the remove all the tables and make it a dance floor. Sweet.

On a completely different note:
In my past 24 years, I have never once been tried to be set up by anyone, and I kind of like it that way. However, in the last day--day!--I have been asked to "hang out" with two different boys, by two different girls. Gah!
Boy #1: His name is Trevor. I met Trevor last week at poker night and apparently he obviously liked me because his friend said he reacted to me different than the rest of the girls there. She thinks we'd be "cute" together and thinks we need to see each other more than once a week. How do I feel about him? He's cute, but seriously not my type looks wise. He is very well traveled and extremely intelligent, which is always a turn on, but the main concern is the fact that my friend really likes him. I just don't want to get involved in that (although, I wouldn't mind getting to know him on a friends level; it wouldn't be nice for me to swoop in on a boy my friend likes).
Boy #2: I don't know his name. He's a law student at the University of Montana. I guess he's very intelligent and sweet, but deathly shy. My friend Monique thinks I can "loosen him up" and that he'd really like me. I don't have any feelings regarding him, since I don't know him at all.
GAH! This is so fucking random. Any pointers?

javabob:
Deep fried Snickers are an English delicacy
Looks like you had a good time at the party, what are keg stands all about??

tarnish:
so...about these boys. I agree with you that its not cool to swoop on a guy that a friend is really into, but at the same time you dont know the other guy at all, so I can see how you could be torn by the situation. In fact, now that I really think about it, i have no idea what advice i could possibly give you. Just enjoy being single and do your thing. *shrug*
