Fall: A time to shed your new growth and retreat to hibernation until you're brave enough to emerge a new you.
Fall is here, despite what the calander says. The smell of changing leaves has entered the air and has flickered my excitement for cold weather. I'm cleaning out my closet preparing to unleash the sweaters and scarves of the season and contemplating the colors of my eyes with my new eggplant top.
What will this fall bring?
I have new dreams, dreams I'm not at liberty to say at this time, but dreams I have had in the past few days I have not been on SG. In the last seven days, I have cleared my head, done my research and lived a little differently than the last year and a half.
I have transformed.
My hair is shorter and lighter, and the smile on my face is that of innocence and not of conceit.
I am well versed in all things societal: I have kept up with the Olympics, learned from the news, and imagined with my radio.
I have spent time with my family and realized exactly why I love them so much.
In the last seven days, I have grown my leaves, my buds, my flowers; I have matured my fruit; I have watched it wilt. It's time for hibernation to see what will become after fall.
