I'm such a nerd.
i just had to say that. don't really know why, either.
So...I'm feeling pretty good. This past week has been hardcore with illness. I hate being that sick because it completely throws off any routine that I'm used to and now, I'm having a hard time getting back in the groove.
I went to the doctor's and since I have a history of stomach issues, he had me do an Upper GI. Holy Hell, Miss Molly! Drinking a 16oz glass of barium is the most disgusting thing ever. Especially when you're still sick and want to vomit all over the radiologist (whom I work with, and have a slight crush on). Yeah, I felt like crap for the rest of the day after that experience. Mmm...barium.
But now I can eat again. And nothing is wrong--I don't have holes in or around it--with my stomach. This means that I have to go through more tests. Yippy, hooray!
Enough with medical bullshit.
So how are all of you doing? Aside from the illness, I'm doing quite well. I started my new job on Tuesday and LOVE it. Seriously LOVE it! I went to a Rod & Custom show last night and fell in love with various red 1969 SS El Camino's...alas...and every single Pontiac Firebird there. Wow, where's my trailor?
Today, I was at a local skate shop looking at slippers (flip-flops for those of you who didn't grow-up in Hawaii) while these two girls, maybe 13 years old, shopped for skate shoes. They were arguing with each other on who actually is the "skater" and therefore can really wear the shoes. Both were hell bent on making the other believe that they actually skate all the time. This made me laugh. It also reminded me when I was about 16 and attempting to skate. I, however, didn't wear the shoes.
Oh, teenagers.
Tomorrow is the first day of summer. Where the hell is the heat?
