I'm up late. I need to go to sleep, but I have no real desire to. I'm going through those sleepless nights where I'm up thinking about the next three weeks relentlessly. I get into weird panic attacks which I need to talk myself out of, which probably sound very odd. It's working though.
Anyway, let's see what's up?
It's been a whole year since I've been a member of SG. Ignore the November 2003; I'm a April 2003 member. Remember my original Delilah_Banks Oh the glory of having a last name. That pretty much qualifys me as Middle Skool. Wooha!
Easter is by far my favorite holiday. Why, you ask? I just love the fact that there is so much faith floating around. Even if you're not very religious, it's just there. Jesus is there. It really makes me want to go back to church on a regular basis and take up the catholic traditions I know so well. Next year, I want to be in southern Mexico so I can partake in the festivities. That is my goal.
I leave on Thursday for my first trip to Scottsdale. Nervous? Very. I have to rent a car. I've never done that before. It's also been months since I've driven in any real traffic. It's going to be an interesting adventure. My plans for that weekend: interview w/ school, find apartment. Not too much on the plate, but enough to make me want to vomit.
This will be my first time living alone. I've always had a roommate or some sort of person in the living area. It's really weird. It's like this is the time that I need to actually grow-up and it's frightening. Really frightening.
But besides all of that, I'm horribly excited. For some reason Arizona just sounds appealing to me. The desert sounds like an adventure. I think the montana winters have taken their toll on me and have reunited my body with the childhood of Hawaii weather.
It will be interesting. That's all I have to say.
On a side note, I just want to thank everyone for being so frickin' supportive over this past year. It doesn't seem like I've been on here that long, but without you guys, I don't think I could have made it through these last twelve months sane. I
you!
