i passed my state exam, and will get my apprentice license tues. and then make needles. paul said he has been rather impressed that i catch on so quickly. though, i think i am a tad older than the average apprentice, so i am actually paying close attention--and have sheer desperation to get out of waiting tables ; ). he said he was going to smoke and then show me how to set up the station-- (well i was using the ultra sonic so i heard "set up station." so i did. he came back in and was like "well, i guess you really have been watching."

It's like going back to school when you're a little older. You have experienced how crappy jobs you don't want to work at can suck the life right from you, sacrificing some happiness for a paycheck... but not anymore! all happy all the time.
